DUMP THE WHEELBARROW
My grandfather had a farm in the Bronx many years ago. He supported his family, and sold fruit and vegetables to the neighborhood. His work was hard, but during the depression he raised a family of his wife and six children in a three room apartment. He also gave wisdom and knowledge of food to his children, and three of them, and several grandchildren work in the food
business. Each day, he worked his barrow, emptied it at the end of the day.
Each day I pray: for hopes and dreams; for friends and family and divine intercessions into their lives; for a path through the valley I walk in; and to overcome so much that seems against me.
This moment you showed me a wonderful vision. It recalled the moment I stood in Heaven, and was empty, and suddenly was being filled with the love of the Holy Spirit, Life.
The thought and vision was that is how each day is, where we give you all our prayers and cares, we empty ourselves of the world. I put them in a wheelbarrow and dump them in front of you. You fill me with the Holy Spirit to begin each day of life in the Spirit.
This moment Lord, I give you all in my barrow, and receive the Spirit. For no matter how good and worthy the cares and prayers, you ask us to cast our cares upon you. I do.

WONDERS OF NATURE
The Bolsa Chica gull,whose natural urgings

GOD'S GIFT OF NATURE
Walking through Bolsa Chica Wetlands, I saw a gull land on a sign and proceed to take a dump. Now this gull could certainly have dropped his load anywhere in wetlands, but went out of his way to ensure he added to the avian covering over the sign, further blotting out the wordage.
ALL WILL BE REVEALED
It was, simply put, a pile of crap. And my mind quickly associated crap with George Allen, the pathetic symbol of a senator, whose latest campaign tactic is repulsive, immoral, and betrays the pond scum mentality that inhabits the Republican party, and the filth that their minds dwell in.
ALLEN' GREATEST FEAR HAS BEEN REALIZED
Allen's election has become a close race because a Vietnam war vet and writer, Jim Webb, is giving Allen, who had ambitions of a presidential race in '08, a heck of a run. And Allen, whose sick comments about blacks, and his name-calling of an American citizen of Indian descent, bared his racist soul.
ALLEN DIDN'T LISTEN TO JESUS
Now, Jesus instructed, and gave the commandment, with no other options, TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. So by the evidence on the table, Allen has not listened to the Lord, and has in fact, committed the willful sin of putting himself before God by breaking the Lord's commandment.
PRIDE GOETH BEFORE A FALLWELL
But Allen, so desperate not to lose, has now taken Jim Webb's fictional adventure novels and excerpted passages from the books, to make it seem as if Webb is a misogynist because women in the stories about spies and terrorists have suffered harm.
JOHN 10:10 THE THIEF COMES TO ROB, STEAL, DESTROY
This is the heart of the Republican method of attaining and keeping power - hurt, malign, and lie about your opponent(and only God knows what else), to create controversy about the opponent instead of on Allen's own shortcomings.
AN EMPTY SHELL
But even if Allen wins, he has already lost. His sins have been exposed for the world to see, and he has definitely lost any shot any presidential ambitions. So he will wander the corridors of the senate with no substance to him, and treated like he has a contagious disease.
SIN IS DESPERATE
The most pathetic part of this episode, is that Allen maligned a novel's story, and used it to disparage a writer, a decorated war hero. Who is next for the Republican list of authors to be maligned for stories with action in them? The Bible? Shakespeare? Hemmingway? Steinbeck?
SEW BUTTONS
And that is the connection between George Allen and a bird's turds.

BEFORE YOU CAN SEE THE HORIZON
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
In Matthew 19:27, Peter tells Jesus, "We have left everything to follow you. What then will there be for us?" And Jesus tells him of the rewards of Heaven.
But those words often don't give us comfort in our lives here on earth.
WIPE YOUR EYES
Each morning, I look out over the ocean and ask the Lord what kind of day it will be.
Some mornings the ocean is clear, and I can see to the far horizon.
Today, the marine layer covered the sea, and I could only see out a murky few hundred feet.
CLEAN YOUR EARS
This was the voice of the Lord for me this day: go ahead, walk on water, calm the sea, and believe in faith that you can do these things.
Jesus said He would be with us always, and though we go through such trials and depression and feel we are alone, He is with us.
You can reality test this. Find your own place for the Lord to speak to you. Look out. Listen. You will hear Him.
Though you may need spiritual cuetips, His voice will penetrate even the waxiest ears.
FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD
Listen and trust. Follow the path. It may be fogged and unclear, but by faith, His path is brightly lit, like a fire on a hilltop.
He will accompany you. In Psalm 23 it reads, "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
OZ
Let Him comfort you. Let Him protect you. Let Him guide you. Let go. Give up the pride. Give up the ego.
Look at the world around you. It is crumbling in chaos. There is a way through the darkness and into the marvelous light.
HELP IS ON THE WAY
My Lord, this day I lift my family and friends, those hurting from the feeling of uselessness, of not feeling in control of the circumstances around them. Bless them with peace, let your Holy Spirit inspire them to seek the highest mountains, let them trust you for great and mighty things.

OF BASEBALL, POLITICS, AND GOD
WORLD SERIES BASEBALL
The St. Louis Cardinals are not going to hold back what is fated - The Year of the Cats - The Big Cats - THE DETROIT TIGERS.
The Tigers, unlike the Yankees, don't take individual limos home from the stadium, they hang out together, ride buses, eat together, and talk to fans.
And the Tiger payroll is only one-third of the Yankees.
The Tigers have in their front office, Al Kaline, a Hall-of-Famer. Kaline knows baseball, lives baseball, and talks baseball to the players. The Yankees? No players in the front office, despite all the greats that have played for them.
I love baseball. It is such a pure game on the field of intelligence and skill; it's chess in motion; with legends, characters, traditions, and superstitions that make it a part of the fabric of America.
FOOTBALL AND POLITICS
Pro football has come to reflect a sad part of the American character - brute strength. And ...whether physical or political, beating opponents with the dirtiest, nastiest methods the mind can conceive. Only winners allowed.
THE RNC DISGRACE
Just take a look at the Republican National Committee's(RNC) ads against Harold Ford in Tennessee. They sink to a new low in American political history. The RNC has brought out the race card, trying to incite the last of the rural South to rise up against the uppity blacks and put them in their place. One ad shows a white blond calling to Harold Ford, telling people she met him at the Playboy mansion. Can you believe such pathetic, despicable behavior.
THE RUMBLE YOU HEAR IS LINCOLN TURNING OVER
Where is statesmenship? Honor? Truth?
Definitely not with Republicans.
It is sad that the party of Lincoln resorts to such garbage, and has their sycophantic press babblers, such as Rush Limbaugh, pushing this trash on air.
What has happened to America is the partisanship of Rove, Cheney, Bush, is mean-spirited, and downright evil.
I hope Ken Mehlman knows the scriptures.
The Bible says we are accountable for every idle word, and that the Lord hates liars above all else.
Hmmmmm. Let's see.
Bush/CheneyRumsfeld/bootlickers all lied about the war.
They have changed the reason for Iraq many times.
They have gotten away with it.
THE LORD'S ACCOUNTS
Until Judgement Day, for the Lord keeps track better than us, and He will hold it against them.
NOT ALL THE NUTS ARE IN THE TREES
Now I am not some religious kook, like Rev(Rev of what and where?) Lou Sheldon, whose only talent seems to be creating hysteria, and then solicite funds to fight it.
Sheldon has a list of supporters, that probalby could be gotten from anywhere, and claims he has backers.
For his kind, the Lord says in Scripture, he will"spit them out."
Read it Lou. I am sure he hasn't picked up anything other than a bank statement.
But the Bible is still true. Even for Lou. Who obviously thinks he is above it.

And also for that large mouthed, big-butted, Rev(another one) Jerry Fallwell(good last name for Judgement Day). He seems extremely interested in the dinner table and the best buffet, forget the poor, the starving, those needing health services. I guess the words of Jesus, "what we do for the least we do for Him" are ones Jerry missed. Or crossed out.
Fallwell had a relative with AIDS and disowned him. So pharasitical.
And admitted drug-addicted, law breaking Rush Limbaugh, probably blamed his addiction and law breaking on some supposed back pain.
BAD FURNITURE
The chairs these men sit on are probably ready to break, not from carrying their girth, which is extremely heavy, but from the immense egos.
FALSE PROPHETS
The scriptures prophesy that "in the last days, many will come in my name", and that is the abominable fact - all these preachers/teachers/shouters are false prophets, who come in the name of the Lord. They hide behind the Lord.
WHERE THE HELL DID THEY COME FROM
They probably started out seeking to help the least, the lost, and the lonely, but lost their mission. They became sated with greed, with power, and worst of all, hypocritical self-righteousness.
And like any other addiction, they became HOOKED
Falwell tried to take over PTL from the Bakkers, like a wolf in sheep's clothing, coming to assist, only to seek to rob, steal, and destroy. o - that is scripture - John 10:10 - the thief comes to rob, steal and destroy...(very Grima Wormtongue from Lord of the Rings.)
Only God knows where Sheldon came from, but we can all see where he is going if he stays on the same path.
ONE MESSAGE

Trust the Lord with all your heart.

Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack had a song, "Where Is The Love?"
A valid question for each person.
WHO DOES THE LORD USE
The scriptures also say Love is the greatest gift. Do they preach love? Forgiveness?
No, they preach judgement and hate.
Despite the size of their egos, the Lord never used men like them, He uses the small, or as the Scriptures say, "He uses the foolish to confound the wise." We will be judged by what we did with His love. They fail the test.
FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY (THE ISLEY BROTHERS)
The only reason all these men chose the Republican side, was because there was money there.
No money with the Democrats. The poor. The homeless. Look at MSNBC. They may be right, but no money. Fox went with the money crowd. Mr. Murdoch is a smart man.
ROLE MODELS
So I conclude from their behaviors, that Falwell, Sheldon, and their ilk, have sold or lost their souls.
They are blind, they do not see.
There is no introspection, no inner judgement, no personal Yom Kippurs for this pack.
PEACE
Thank the good Lord he said "my peace I leave you, not as the world gives.."
